PRACTICAL TEST: TOP EFFECTIVENESS THROUGH THE QUICK LOCKING SYSTEM SIDE-LOCK DEVELOPED BY HAURATON
A test documents the advantage over conventional locking systems. In the test the maintenance of a channel run was simulated as it would be in practice and investigated to see how long it takes to release a cover, lay it down beside the channel, pick it up and lock it again. The quick locking system SIDE-LOCK was tested against a conventional one with 8 lots of screws by continuous meter. The results speak for themselves: the described process takes 31.8 seconds (= 0.53 minutes) with the quick locking system SIDE-LOCK. Over the same distance, 4 minutes and 12.6 seconds (= 4.21 minutes) was recorded for the covers with 8 lots of screws. That results in a time saving per meter of 3 minutes and 40.8 seconds using SIDE-LOCK. The diagram shows this huge difference, which becomes even more obvious when you multiply the time factor with an hourly rate of EUR 40.00. Conclusion: The user saves time and money with SIDE-LOCK!
